Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced marketing manager looking for a new opportunity in South Bend, IN? 

In this position you will  help develop and manage marketing channels to expand and grow new account relations and grow product sales.

Basic Functions: 
  • Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights.
  • Execute marketing strategies and the execution of plans for existing products.
  • Serve as a partner to sales and product development to determine the viability of potential markets before the production of a product.
  • Work with product development teams to manage new product development.
  • Manage launch campaigns for new products.
  • Manage distribution channels for products.
  • Ensure effective, branded marketing communications, including the company website, print communication, digital, social and advertising.
  • Manage media and marketing staff and external PR agencies.

  • Lead direct reports with one-on-ones, setting and monitoring annual goals, and establishing priorities.
  • Become an expert in Logistick product offerings and unique selling propositions.
  • Understand competitive set of direct competitors and substitutable products.
  • Manage marketing communications across all media.
  • Effectively execute social media campaigns.
  • Recommend marketing and merchandising promotions.
  • Work with R&D on new product development.
  • Understand the pricing elasticity of products in our range and recommend pricing repositions to grow business and increase margin.
  • Manage end-to-end trade show processes.
  • Learn and utilize Logistick IT systems and procedures.
  • Customer service, partnership development and customer retention.
  • Help manage and execute Logistick tradeshow exhibiting.

  • Insatiable curiosity
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, business, or engineering. A four-year college degree may be waived as a requirement if there is sufficient experience.
  • Prior experience in transportation, distribution, or warehousing a major plus.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience.
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
  • Critical thinker and a problem solver.
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry oriented.
