Are you a Finance Controller looking to work with a growing company in Elkhart, IN?
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the oversight, leadership, and coordination of accounting, financial reporting, financial management, business management, and budgeting efforts related to the operation.
Job Specific Competencies:
- Provide oversight and direct the processes of budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
- Provide procedures and internal controls to maintain proper records, accounting controls and services.
- Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets.
- Analyzes and reviews the organization's financial position.
- Provide periodic reports to other departments.
- Provide oversight and direct preparation for external audits and tax requirements.
- Directs and analyzes physical inventory.
- Completes statistical and routine reports.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements.
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance; CPA and/or MBA an added asset
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Good control of verbal and written English is essential; a second European language is an asset
- Strong analytical skills required
- Logical reasoning ability essential
