Sales Development Manager

South Bend, IN

Are you a hungry and aggressive Sales Manager ready for a new challenge?

In this exciting position you will be customer and product sales- oriented focused on growing customer base and acquiring new customers and successfully promote the brand and expand sales of our innovative line of load securement products, including blocking & bracing, freight damage prevention and employee safety solutions for over-the-road, ocean, and intermodal shipments.

• Become an expert in product offerings and value proposition to prospects
• Identify prospects, develop, manage, and grow recurring, profitable sales with accounts
• Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
• Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
• Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
• Learn and utilize IT systems and procedures
• Customer service, partnership development and customer retention
• Sales Tactics and Methods – Phone (inbound and cold calling), customer visits, Email, social media along and other electronic B2B communications
• Customer onboarding
• Travel to HQ for training & quarterly Sales/Company meetings.

• An innate hunger to research, identify and secure new business.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in transportation, distribution, warehouse, or general sales experience.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience.
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
• Critical thinker, and a problem solver.
• Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and training skills
• Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry inclined.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time; ability to work in a standard office environment; may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and install products, which may require bending, stooping, knelling etc.

This is a direct hire with a base salary and commission!
