Are you a quality manager looking for a new role in Constantine, MI? 

The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products. Lead by example and collaboratively to plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability expectancy.
• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Function as management representative for everything ISO 13485, ISO 9001, MedAccred, and AS9100 including audits.
• Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization, such as Material Review Board, CAPA meetings, Production Planning, APQP.
• Oversee document control as required by Quality Standards.
• Create and manage inspection criteria and procedures.
• Interpret quality assurance and quality control philosophy to key personnel.
• Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Provide inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Inspection and quality process improvements needed to support customer requirements and on-time delivery schedules. • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
• Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Ensure that all special operations such as FAIs, Calibration and Internal Audits are completed correctly and on time.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
• Prepare and submit quality reports.
• Design and implement quality control training programs for key personnel in conjunction with managers.
• Lead and develop a high-performance team of inspectors and quality engineers to achieve goals and expectations within the department.

• Apply mathematical operations to tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
• Respond to inquiries and/or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Four (4) years in a Quality Manager role or demonstrated experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Capability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and employees.
• Able to effectively communication with differing communication styles.
• Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with abstract and concrete variables.
