Product Information Specialist

 

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining all product related data and information, functioning as a gatekeeper for product data to ensure it is accurate, complete, and valid. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to work cross functionally and independently to achieve timely and action-oriented results. The PIM Specialist will work with the Manager in the setup and maintenance of product data and content in multiple databases and ERP systems and will assist with regularly schedules and ad hoc data maintenance products as required.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, maintaining, and discontinuing of products
• Assists in the development of new processes to improve the company’s data management goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure product data is accurate and consistent
• Assist in maintaining all price books and product configuration specs. 
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the PIM Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in data management, materials or inventory analysis, or purchasing, 
• Proficiency with working in large enterprise-level financial and operations management applications. 
• Self-motivated and able to drive collaborative success with limited guidance.
• Ability to be an analytical thinker with excellent attention to details.
• Superior proofreading skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong Excel skills.
• Self-Motivated, energetic, passionate, and the ability to collaborate and build team consensus.
• Dynamics 365 ERP experience a plus.
• Proficiency in product information management is preferred.
