Asset Integrity Superintendent

Are you an experienced asset integrity superintendent looking for a new opportunity in Orange Texas? 
 

As an Asset Integrity Superintendent, you will be responsible and accountable for the operability and maintenance of the operating units, working with Production and other groups to plan investments, improve reliability, maintain PSRM and environmental compliance. You will also have technical oversight of all activities related to mechanical integrity, reliability programs, maintenance training, maintenance PSRM and the site equipment file room at the Orange site
 

Duties:

  • Daily follow up of maintenance; inspection and integrity related activities and taking appropriate corrective measures to ensure both inspection schedules and quality targets are achieved.  Ensure appropriate methods for repair and inspection are being used correctly and modify as needed to avoid deviations.
  • Develop standards for equipment inspection in cooperation with site stakeholders based on company PSRM policy and procedures.
  • Develop close working relationships with production and engineering to discuss and correct mechanical and instrumentation problems, including providing maintenance coordination for capital projects.
  • Work with the Central Maintenance personnel to develop and encourage a team approach. 
  • Monitor the Orange Site maintenance, integrity and inspection programs in a critical manner to suggest and implement improvements, develop best in class practices and ensure the safety and reliability of the site infrastructure and equipment.
  • Oversight and management of all inspection work including chronological and risk-based software system data entry, updates, reports, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical oversight coordination to site reliability programs for all preventive and predictive maintenance methods. This also includes management of all reliability based software system data entry, updates, reports, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 10 years relevant experience in lieu of education
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a related role in a manufacturing environment
  • Polymer process experience strongly desired;
  • Skilled in Office products and SAP software functions
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and be able to adapt and adjust to changing circumstances and responsibilities.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and with all locations within Global organization
  • Must possess good communication skills and ability to give direction to those outside of the company
