Senior CNC Manual Machinist
LaPorte, Indiana

Are you an Experienced CNC Manual Machinist with programming experience of CNC machines and looking for a great company to join in the LaPorte area?
In this position you will provide CNC programming for various CNC machine tools. Includes creating machining processes required to produce components and instruments as required by manufacturing & maintaining required documentation systems for developing tooling requirements!
Responsibilities:
- Managing machines and the machine processes to increase throughput and quality
- Quality checking parts to ensure they are within tolerance
- Put away items that are bought in, in their according bins
- Organize and clean the Machine Shop
- Maintain machines on a schedule
- Performing machine setups to run parts
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience minimum
- Ability to program CNC machines, run, check parts & set- ups.
- Excellent with math counting, use a tape measure, (read measurements down to ten thousand), use of calipers and micrometers.
- Strong organization, effectively stage and organize items
- Excellent communication skills (Leadership role)
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with driving forklift, operating a jib crane, operating Manual Mill & Manual Lathe
- Knowledge/Experience with DMG MORI 3+2 CNC Mill
