Assistant Irrigation Manager

Located between the picturesque towns of Goondiwindi and Mungindi our client is on the lookout for an Assistant Irrigation Manager to join their dynamic team. 

You will be assisting the Cotton Manager in the day-to-day execution of the irrigated cotton program while also providing support and guidance to staff within the operation.

In your new role, you’ll:

•    Have a thorough understanding of irrigated broadacre crop production
•    Experience in operation of machinery, plant, and equipment
•    Execute the irrigation program
•    Assist in coordinating daily operations of the property
•    Exhibit leadership & mentoring capabilities
•    Demonstrate excellent communication skills

About you:

•    Reliable, organised and a team player
•    Experience using AutoFarm, Trimble and Greenstar precision ag technology
•    Sound agronomic knowledge and knowledge of Irrigated farming practices
•    Current and Valid Driver’s License 
•    Current Chemical Users Certification
