Our client, a highly respected Office Supply Company, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis!
This position will provide support to the CFO and Controller in maintaining the financial and accounting systems of the Company to report the financial results of the Company, its warehouses, retail stores, and divisions, adding value that contributes accurately and effectively to the growth and success of the organization, and maintaining systems, policies and procedures that safeguard the assets of the Company

Duties/ Responsibilities
•   Supervise A/P personnel as needed.
•   Monitor and update cash flow reports.
•   Review and approve supplier payments.
•   Process EFT (wire and ACH) remittances and check payments.
•   Write journal entries.
•   Reconcile and close A/P, A/R, and inventory monthly.
•   Maintain monthly financial reports and keep them up-to-date.
•   Process invoices.
•   File sales and use taxes monthly.
•   Reconcile bank accounts.
•   Prepare and present financial reports to leadership.

Education and Experience Requirement:

1.     Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2.   Strong Accounting background with 2 - 15 years of experience.
3.   Ability to use current information to forecast future scenarios
4.   Takes initiative and able to work independently.
5.   Good working knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel.
