Litigation Support Project Manager

Our client, a U.S.-based law firm, is seeking a Litigation Support Project Manager. In this role, the Project Manager will work closely with attorneys, paralegals and outside vendors in managing engagements through the full-cycle EDRM. The ideal candidate will be consultative, have strong communication skills, and have experience in Relativity, RelOne, and Reveal. This is a great opportunity for a junior project manager or someone who is looking to transition into Project Management and is looking for strong mentorship and growth. Candidates need to be located in one of the following locations for this hybrid role: New York; Boston, Baltimore, Chesterbrook, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Wilmington, Chicago, Minneapolis, New Jersey, D.C., West Palm Beach, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles, or Irvine.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Set up litigation-specific network drives and define or update security for same
  • Administrate document review platforms, collaborative workspaces, virtual data rooms, and FTP sites
  • Assist Project Managers and case teams with processing, loading, searching, or exporting data in document review platforms
  • Document case-related information throughout the lifecycle of the EDRM, including updating case management information, logging evidence, documenting metrics, and filing reports
  • Work with Project Managers and business partners/vendors in all phases of the EDRM across multiple matters
  • Assist with case closure work, including archiving data and documenting case closure actions
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks as appropriate to department and Firm leadership
  • Ensure delivery of work product within set timeframes and QC standards
  • Assist in developing and implementing solutions, workflows, and procedures at a department level, including management of non-billable projects and assisting with documentation
Litigation Support Services:
  • Build and foster strong relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients, and represent LSS department on cases and at Firm events
  • Enter time for billable and non-billable tasks daily
Required Technical Skills:
  • Administrative experience in Relativity
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Administrative experience in CaseMap or equivalent case management software
  • Administrative experience in TextMap or equivalent deposition management software
  • Administrative experience in Nuix, LAW, or equivalent processing software
  • Experience collecting ESI and paper
  • Experience setting up and breaking down war rooms / technical set-ups

Qualifications:
  • Some years of experience in eDiscovery 
  • 4-year B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours and remotely as needed
  • Ability to travel to all offices and trial locations
  • Ability to perform light lifting including moving boxes & equipment
Other Preferences:
  • Participation in industry and volunteer organizations (e.g., ILTA, ACEDS, etc.)
  • Industry- and job-related certifications including CEDS, RCA, PMP, or CIPP
Expected salary for this role is $120,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
