Our client, a holistic cyber security provider, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering security engagements for private equity and portfolio companies. You will conduct risk assessments, maturity assessments, and work on client cyber security consulting engagements focused on assessing cyber security controls, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with PE Operating Partners and Portfolio company management, leading engagement teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This is a new role with the potential for growth into a product leadership position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting and CISSP, with a strong background in risk assessments and working with industry-leading frameworks. Candidates should have experience working for companies with high revenue in a variety of industries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the overall engagement lead that is responsible for project management, team sourcing and coordination, overall delivery of the program, engagement economics and client endorsement
Provide consulting analysis and maintain an excellent client relationship experience with Imperium clients
Support management with practice development and other strategic or operational responsibilities
Responsible for mentoring and training team members and handling complex project
Operate as the primary engagement contact and issues manager, and will ensure the right assessment team is available, at the right time
Oversee assessment kick-off, planning and logistics management
Work with the client operating team to identify target maturity for each PortCo and plan rollout of the program
Lead the regular updates with the client Ops team
Lead a subset of assessments and manage engagements from start to finish
Act as the primary assessment contact and issues manager, and will ensure the success of the assessment
Co-develop Key Initiatives Roadmap
Lead monthly touchpoints with PortCos
Source referral opportunities
Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in an information technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Significant experience in cyber security consulting and CISSP
Experience with industry-leading frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO) and auditing against those frameworks
Experience as an operator preferred
Experience working for companies between 50 million and 250 million in revenue in a wide variety of industries

Advanced knowledge of project management principles, practices, and procedures
Ability to deliver presentations to senior leadership

Expected salary for this role is $125,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
