Outside Sales Representative

Overland Park, Kansas

Full-time

DESCRIPTION

Ultimate is a construction staffing firm that operates in over 40 states. We specialize in construction staffing and workforce management. We are currently seeking candidates to grow our sales territories and manage our current client base.

Our primary responsibility is to educate and sign contractors on the benefits of utilizing Ultimate’s services.

This position will be based out of the Kansas City office. However, we will require our representatives to be in their sales territory 1 to 2 times a month for 3 to 4 days at a time. We are looking for like-minded individuals with an overall competitive and entrepreneurial spirit!

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage contractors to utilize Ultimate's services
- Contractor research and development
- Perform market analysis
- Job site visits to meet clients
- Networking events to meet contractors and understand their upcoming manpower needs
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Report on the status of accounts
- Suggest actions to improve performance and identify opportunities for growth

Requirements:

- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Sports-minded and competitive
- Desire to work and excel as part of a team
- Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Self-motivated
- Understanding of sales and marketing
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be able to complete tasks properly and in a timely manner
