Structural Engineer - EIT (Entry Level)

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is actively seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join a renowned engineering, fabrication, and construction firm specializing in signage and outdoor structures, known nationally for our excellence in the field.

The ideal candidate we are searching for should possess a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience as a Civil or Structural Engineer. Your expertise should have a strong emphasis on structural steel and concrete infrastructure/foundations, and electrical design engineering. You will play a pivotal role in guiding projects through all stages of development, from initial engineering design (conceptual and final phases), facilitating permitting processes, conducting comprehensive comment reviews, to overseeing fabrication and construction activities across multiple projects spanning the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Conducting site plan reviews and conditional zoning assessments.
• Developing comprehensive engineering designs.
• Performing meticulous structural calculations.
• Finalizing component sizing for steel and concrete elements.
• Preparing detailed structural and civil design plans for various projects.
• Applying your knowledge of ASCE and AISC building codes to ensure compliance.
• Utilizing AutoCAD, Tekla extensively for detailing tasks on a daily basis.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline is required for this position. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant engineering software is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Candidates with prior experience in the signage, telecommunications industry, or similar engineering fields, especially those with a focus on structural steel detailing and concrete foundations, are strongly encouraged to apply.
