Structural Engineer - Steel Detailing / Design

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is actively seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join a nationally recognized leader in the engineering, fabrication, and construction of signage and outdoor structures.

We are searching for an exceptional individual with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Civil or Structural Engineer. Your expertise should be concentrated in the areas of structural steel, concrete infrastructure/foundations, and electrical design engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and directing projects through all phases of development, including conceptual and final engineering design, permitting and comment reviews, and oversight of fabrication and construction activities spanning multiple projects across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting thorough site plan reviews and conditional zoning assessments.
• Developing intricate engineering designs.
• Performing precise structural calculations.
• Formalizing component sizing for both steel and concrete elements.
• Producing comprehensive structural and civil design and plan sets for various projects.
• Applying your extensive knowledge of ASCE and AISC building codes to ensure strict compliance.
• Utilizing AutoCAD for detailed design and detailing tasks on a daily basis.

Candidates for this position must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, and be a registered Professional Engineer (PE). Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant engineering software is crucial. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
